Salmon Falls Stoneware, located in Dover, New Hampshire, offers beautiful handcrafted pottery pieces that are finished with a traditional American salt-glaze and fired in a gas kiln at 2,300 degrees farenheit. The size and shape of each of the pieces reflects the individuality of each potter, just as the interpretation of a design reflects the individuality of each decorator. The salt-glaze finish results from the vaporization of rock salt in the kiln during the final stage of firing. Each piece of pottery from Salmon Falls Stoneware is lead free and safe to put in the microwave and the dishwasher. It is great for baking and other everyday uses.

From Southern New England: Take I-95 N to Portsmouth, NH., Exit 4 to Route 16, Spaulding Turnpike. Go approximately 10 miles to Exit 8E. Follow Route 4 to Portland Ave., past Dover Arena. Turn left at lights onto Oak street and first left into pottery driveway. From Conway, NH: Take Route 16S, Spaulding Turnpike, to Exit 9. Follow signs for Route 108S to Dover. Turn left onto Oak Street at Rite Aid Pharmacy. Cross one intersection and railroad bridge to Pottery driveway on right.
